In effort to strengthen our community, we must collectively support local innovators and young entrepreneurs. Transformation needs to be encouraged and nurtured. By sponsoring education, networking, speakers and pitch initiatives you will directly help our young entrepreneurs scale faster and make better informed decisions.
“When Jessica Larche and I became aware of Georgian College’s 50th Anniversary, we agreed that we wanted to create an initiative that was echoed by Georgian’s success. Fund50 was born. Our goal is to launch a campaign that funds bright entrepreneurial minds at the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre (HBEC), located at Georgian College. Funds collected will go towards HBEC events, educational support, pitch competitions, awards, and speakers. HBEC supports both student and community based start ups.”
HBEC Mentor & Local Entreprenuer
The Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre helps community-based and Georgian student entrepreneurs, in any stage of development, and in any sector to start and grow their business. Our commitment is to take entrepreneurs further, faster.
What we do:
By having 50 entrepreneurial business professionals contributing $50 per month for 50 months as part of Georgian College’s 50 year anniversary, your funds will be used only for the expressed purpose of building an environment that supports our startups, networking events, pitch competitions, awards, seed funds, and social events.
Become an ambassador of fostering start-up culture today. Be included in regular entrepreneurial networking nights when you become part of the Fund 50 HBEC ambassador group. Your support is under Georgian College’s charitable registration 11893 7283 RR0001.
